OUR PURPOSE

Holding Hands between Generations (HHBG-ab) is a dynamic and transformative non-profit organization based in Calgary, Alberta, proudly led by the Black community. With a mission deeply rooted in fostering intergenerational connections and breaking down societal barriers, HHBG-ab is committed to empowering individuals across ages to thrive collectively.

Our purpose revolves around building a harmonious community where diversity is celebrated, learning is continuous, and each generation contributes to the success of the other. Through mentorship, educational initiatives, and a commitment to equity, we seek to address the unique challenges faced by Black communities, dismantling systemic barriers and creating a pathway for shared success.
